Taking your phone to a festival
You want to go to a festival, but then the question remains what you're going to take. Sunscreen, your ticket, money, and then there's the question about your mobile phone. Do you take it with you or not? The reasons for wanting to take it are often clear. You want to be able to take a photo, make a recording of your favourite band or artist, or you want to be able to call someone. Often, you just want to be reachable even when you're going to a festival. But still, you might be afraid of losing it. You could always take an older device with you; you'll still take care of it, but it's less of a problem if something happens to it than if it were your new phone!
Leaving your phone at home for a festival visit
You're still leaving your new phone at home when you go to a festival, right? Take an older model with you that you can use to make calls. It would be a shame if you lost your new phone or if it was stolen. You might think it won't happen, but you'll be dancing, jumping, and then suddenly you've lost it. Did it fall out of your pocket or was there a pickpocket active? Make sure you know what you're going to do and act accordingly. Taking an older device is a good option; you can still use it to call or send a message if you want to let people hear something. You'll also just be reachable.
What are you going to do?
It can be a difficult choice, but only you can decide what you do. In the meantime, you can book your tickets and make use of the Festival Gift Card. Then you can see if you still have an older model lying around. It's therefore ideal to keep your previous devices, because they can always come in handy for a festival visit. So now you can make your choice and ensure that you are both reachable and can take photos. Taking a camera is also a good idea! Furthermore, your friends might bring a phone and they can take photos and maybe you can borrow it for a bit? Options can be thought of, so follow your gut and enjoy your festival visit!
