According to Dutch anti-money laundering legislation, a maximum of €50 can be spent per online transaction with a gift card. This applies to all gift cards in the Netherlands, including the Festival Gift Card.

For example: if you want to make a payment of €150, you can pay a maximum of €50 with your Festival Gift Card. The remaining €100 can be paid via iDEAL or another payment method. Want to spend a larger amount with your gift card? We recommend purchasing two separate tickets in two separate transactions, allowing you to use €50 multiple times. Your remaining balance will, of course, remain valid and can be used again for your next order.

When a chosen event cannot take place, it's naturally very frustrating! If you used your Festival Gift Card to pay for a ticket, a new agreement was established during the checkout process—specifically between you and the event organizer. Therefore, if an event cannot proceed, it is up to the organizer to determine what measures will be taken. We are merely a payment method, just like iDeal, PayPal, or a credit card, and in many cases, we have already disbursed the gift card balance to the relevant organizer. So always check first with the event organizer whether and how you can get your money back, as they are responsible for handling this for you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend the validity period of your Festival Gift Card. This is not because we wouldn't want to, but it's technically not possible. Therefore, you must really use your gift card within 2 years after it has been activated.

It's naturally very frustrating when you lose your gift card or it's been deactivated. Therefore, please contact us immediately. We can block your gift card. Always include at least the following in your email: Your name, phone number, email address, purchase date, and the purchase amount. For faster processing, also attach the receipt and your order number.
