What Will You Bring?
Imagine you've chosen a great festival with your Festival Gift Card and then it's time to figure out what to bring. First, you need to determine how many days the festival lasts. Will you be travelling back and forth from home or will you be sleeping there? Our checklist is more focused on festivals that last a few days where you want to stay so you don't miss anything! Often this means you'll be sleeping in a tent and you'll want to shower there too. Many people use the showers, so you need to think carefully about your own hygiene. Getting a fungal infection is no fun, so make sure you can wear sandals or flip-flops in the shower area and the places where you dry off. Bare feet are susceptible, and you definitely don't want any of that! You naturally bring shampoo etc. to wash yourself, a brush to get your hair looking good again, and then brush your teeth.
Don't forget the towel - feel free to bring two! Then some nice fresh deodorant and a clean tissue in case you need to blow your nose. You'd better bring a roll of toilet paper for yourself too; it can easily run out with so many people using the toilet all day long. Disinfectant and wet wipes are also handy for cleaning your hands and, of course, the toilet seat. Is there a lot of sun? Then you'll need sunscreen, and a minor accident can always happen, so bring plasters. If you are currently taking any specific medication, make sure you bring it and can store it in a safe place.
