Phone at a festival
Of course, you want to be reachable for others, or to make a video. Taking a photo at your festival might also be the reason you want to have your mobile phone handy. But make sure you don't lose your phone. Or what if you drop it suddenly and it breaks, you really don't want to think about that, do you? What you could do is take an old phone with you if you still have one. Or agree with your friends who will bring a phone, bring an extra bag you can wear, and then you'll still be reachable!
Lost friends during a festival?
The worst thing that can happen is that you suddenly lose your friends on a festival site. How could you prevent this? By agreeing on a meeting point. Maybe one person goes to get drinks and the other needs the toilet, and suddenly you don't know where to go. Then head to the agreed meeting point and you can meet up there again!
Keep drinking water
If you've chosen a festival where you can't stand still when you hear the music, then you'll be doing a lot of dancing! That's why you also need to keep drinking enough, because you'll lose a lot more fluid than on a normal day. So drink enough water all day, and if you have an alcoholic drink, make sure your next drink is a glass of water. Alcohol dehydrates you even more, and that's exactly what you want to avoid during your festival day!
Only take what you really need
If you start wondering what you'll need during a festival, what do you think of? Ticket? Perhaps arranged via Festival Gift Card, your phone, money, a cap, sunscreen, and what else? Only take the absolute essentials, make sure you have a small bag with you so you can store everything, and then you won't have to lug around 'too many items you don't actually need' all day. Also discuss with your friends who will bring what, because you don't all need to bring sunscreen. Borrow it from each other, and that way you distribute everything throughout the day and you'll have a wonderful festival day together!
