About
MJ Unplugged Apeldoorn 2027-06-18 is an intimate acoustic concert in which the timeless music of Michael Jackson is stripped back entirely to its essence. Singer Merijn van Haren, known from Navarone and The Analogues, takes you on a pure and intense reliving of the King of Pop. World hits such as Billie Jean, Thriller and Beat It sound raw, groovy and surprisingly danceable here. You experience the iconic songs like never before.
Together with a close-knit band of guitar, piano and drums, a warm, almost magical atmosphere emerges that embraces you immediately. Expect no rigid playback, but pure live playing full of emotion and musical finesse. You feel the tension of every chord and the power of every voice. This is no ordinary tribute concert, but a celebration of music that connects generations and stays with you for a long time.
